Students will focus on perfecting their technique, building strength, endurance, flexibility, body coordination, and their mentality. Students will learn Kata (forms) which are choreographed sequences against imaginary opponents. They will participate in kumite (sparring) against various opponents. Also, they will learn basic joint locking techniques, throws, and defenses from the ground. All practice will be done in a controlled and safe manner to allow students to effectively learn how to defend themselves.

Utilizing innovations from the Sugiyama Method enables students to digest the material in a deeper and faster rate than customary teaching methods allow. All students receive personalized attention and correction from their instructor.
